Shipping Information

Shipping Rates

The check-out process will provide you with a list of USPS and UPS shipping options for your order. If you need to arrange another shipping method, please contact us at info@hyperionhoop.com. For most domestic hoop orders, USPS Priority Mail is the most cost-effective shipping option, with 2-3 day delivery to most of the country.

International Orders

Import duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

First-Class International and Priority Mail International shipments should not be considered trackable. For some destination countries these methods may have usable tracking information. For others, only delivery confirmation is provided. Delivery times vary considerably by country.

While the postal service is usually prompt and reliable in most countries, unpredictable delays will sometimes happen. If you need to be sure of receiving your order by a particular date, choose one of the Express Mail or UPS options. We will not ship replacements for missing orders until 6 weeks after the initial shipment for non-trackable methods.

Restrictions

We ship to just about anywhere permitted by US law. Prohibited countries currently include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria.

Packing Hoops for Return Shipping

It's important to pack your hoop properly when sending it in for service, both to ensure that it doesn't get damaged and that you don't get overcharged. UPS and FedEx have different dimensional weight rules than the post office (USPS) and will typically charge much more for shipping hoops. USPS prices also jump sharply if your hoop package is just a bit too large.

Typical Priority Mail shipping rates within the US for a single hoop are around $15 when properly packed. UPS usually starts at about $40. UPS and FedEx stores will package your hoop securely, but they'll usually charge you about 3x as much as if you boxed it yourself.

Don't coil your hoop tighter than about 20" across when packing it or it may be damaged, and never ship a hoop without rigid packaging - we've received hoops in FedEx envelopes before and it's not pretty.

The boxes we pack individual hoops in are 24" by 24" by 2". If you don't have your original box and can't find something of a similar size, simply take a couple of pieces of flat cardboard or flattened boxes and tape them on either side of your coiled-down hoop. This offers good protection for your hoop and you can usually find the materials for free.
