The original Phoenix hoop was introduced more than 12 years ago by SpinFx and was one of the most advanced hoops of its time. When SpinFx shut down their hoop production in 2018 to focus on live performance booking, we took over the Phoenix and merged it with the Hyperion line.

We're now producing the 4th generation of Hyperion Phoenix. It's driven by the same software and electronics as the regular removable-battery Hyperion Gen 4, but has the gapless design, internal batteries, and perfect balance of the original Phoenix. The mechanical design has been significantly upgraded to have no rattle and greatly improved reliability and durability.

Like all Hyperion hoops, the Phoenix comes with more than 2,000 patterns and has motion sensors for stunning and complex motion-reactive patterns unmatched by any other hoop on the market. It also supports advanced wireless features like Art-Net support over WiFi.

Sizes and Materials

We offer the Phoenix in sizes from 22" to 40" inner diameter (ID), in 3/4" HDPE and clear or colored polypro tubing. See our hoop size and material guide for more information on selecting a size and tubing material. SpinFX Phoenix hoops made in 2018 and earlier were sized by OD. If you're ordering a hoop to match an older Phoenix, subtract 1.5" from your old hoop's size.

Each hoop includes a 7-key and 44-key remote control, micro USB cable, manual, and 2-year warranty. Hoops are shipped with no taping or sanding for grip, but include two grades of sandpaper so you can add exactly the amount of grip you want.
